Scottish funeral directors will have the chance to network with policymakers and parliamentarians at an event hosted by Golden Charter and Good Life, Good Death, Good Grief on Wednesday evening. The evening is an opportunity to celebrate best practice in the funeral profession and promote a culture of open conversation around death and dying.
The reception will begin at 6pm at the Mcdonald Holyrood Hotel after a welcome from Richard Lyle MSP, Convener of the Cross Party Group on Bereavement. There will also be short talks from Good Life, Good Death, Good Grief’s Robert Peacock on the purpose of Good Death Week and Golden Charter CEO Suzanne Grahame, on the role of funeral directors in promoting a good death.
If any SAIFCharter members would like to attend the event, please register here.
